This is the privacy policy for Site 4 That. We wrote this in plain English because nobody reads legalese. Here's how we handle your data.

The Quick Summary

• We collect your email and a hashed password to run your account.
• We use Stripe for payments — we never see your card number.
• If you're logged in, we keep your recent tool sessions for up to 30 days to personalize your experience. We may also note general preferences (like topics you care about) to make results more relevant.
• We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We don't use your data to train AI.
• You can delete your account anytime.

What We Collect

Only what we need to make the service work:

• Email — For login, receipts, and password resets.
• Password — Stored as a one-way hash. We can't read it.
• Payment info — Handled entirely by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID and purchase history.
• Usage counts — Which tools you use and how often, for free-tier limits. Not your actual inputs or outputs.
• IP address — For rate limiting and abuse prevention only.
• One session cookie — Keeps you logged in. That's the only cookie we use.
• Tool sessions — If you're logged in, we save your recent tool interactions for up to 30 days. This powers personalization and is automatically deleted.

What We Don't Do

• We don't keep AI session data longer than 30 days.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
• We don't use your data to train AI models.
• We may use Google Analytics for basic page-view counts. We don't use tracking pixels or ad cookies.
• We don't profile you or make automated decisions about you.

Services We Use

A short list of who helps us run this thing and what they see:

• Stripe — Payments. Gets your email and card info directly.
• Anthropic — AI processing. Gets your tool inputs to generate results. Not used for training.
• Cloud infrastructure — We use third-party providers for hosting, database, email delivery, and file storage. These services process data as needed to operate but don't use it for their own purposes.

About the AI

When you use a tool, your inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, processed, and streamed back to you. If you're logged in, we temporarily store your inputs and output (up to 30 days) to personalize your experience. We may also use a lightweight AI call to note general preferences — like your communication style or life context — but never the specific content of your conversation. Session data is automatically deleted after 30 days. Under our API agreement with Anthropic, your data is not used to train their models.

AI-generated content is provided as-is. It can be wrong. It's not professional advice — not medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. Always use your own judgment.

How Long We Keep Things

• Account data — Until you delete your account.
• Purchase records — 7 years (tax and legal requirements).
• Usage data — Individual data purged after 90 days.
• AI sessions — Automatically deleted after 30 days.

Want your data deleted? Contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Your Rights

No matter where you live, you can:

• Request a copy of your data
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Export it in a standard format

We don't sell your personal information. If you're in California, that covers your CCPA rights too — there's nothing to opt out of because we don't sell or share your data in the first place.

If you're outside the US, your data is processed in the United States. You get the same rights as everyone else.

Security

We hash passwords, encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict database access, and run regular cleanups of expired data. That said, nothing online is 100% secure. We do our best, but we can't guarantee perfection.

Kids

This service is not for anyone under 13. If a child has signed up, let us know and we'll remove their data.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll email registered users. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
